My collection of fabrics is small in comparison to some folks' but it is very eclectic! 90% fits in a four drawer lateral file cabinet. In the past though, I have gotten a few colorways of a print now and then. I am also striving to buy 'fabric families' so I have things that coordinate together better. I do not have any one type that I always would buy, such as you often buy stripes or dots. I USED to do that, but not anymore. I can't imagine getting a WHOLE fabric collection! And my "must haves" would be money to pay for it and a guilt free conscience.
