"Feelin’ Blue, Too" (2005)

Feelin’ Blue, Too is the second in a series of quilts in the JAJ Bullseye Project. In each round, the three quiltmakers,  Julie Zaccone Stiller, Adrienne Acoba and Jaye A. H. Lapachet, makes one quilt in the agreed upon color scheme. The quilts are made in a round robin style by cutting a background and sending to the next person. Each person adds patches in the agreed upon shape as the backgrounds are sent to her. When the squares are complete, we add the last piece to our own squares and cut our squares into four pieces. We each send one quarter of each square to the other quiltmakers. I enjoy seeing the quilt work out in the end and working with quiltmakers whose work I respect and appreciate. I also enjoy thinking about the play on words. Shown at 2005 Marin Quilt & Needle Arts Show. This quilt is currently on display at Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP, San Francisco, California
