I thought that the original 24&#8243; size was too big of a block for me, so using EQ7, I resized the block down to 16&#8243;. I made the first block using Triangle Squares as Ms. Roskelley suggests. I thought that her method was a little too time consuming and had too many pieces and made the seams stand out too much. I re-imagined the piecing with fewer seams.<\/p>\n<p>I really didn&#8217;t intend to make a quilt, but I kept wanting to try different color and fabric combinations. I also played a bit with negative space in this quilt.
