I was particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/11\/flying-geese-inspiration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">enamored of a block shown by Moda<\/a> that has its roots in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/sampler-quilt-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dutchman\u2019s Puzzle block<\/a>, a block I like very much and is usually in my sampler quilts.&nbsp; I <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2016\/02\/flying-geese-design-thoughts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">created the design<\/a> on my way home from the North Coast while DH drove. I was inspired by the <a href=\"https:\/\/camilleroskelley.typepad.com\/simplify\/2013\/11\/round-and-round-along.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Round and Round quilt by Camille Roskelly<\/a> and have incorporated her reimagining of the Friendship Star block into my design.
