One I pressed towards the white (example: top) and one I pressed towards the color (example: bottom). I think it is hard to tell the difference online, but in person, if you look, you can tell that the color pops forward more on the bottom one. Ruth McDowell talks about this in her classes and her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Piecing-Expanding-Ruth-B-McDowell\/dp\/157120041X\/sr=8-3\/qid=1164582530\/ref=sr_1_3\/103-2833382-1351014?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books\">Piecing<\/a> book.
