Apparently, since the light rail went in, this part of Seattle has grown a lot. There is definitely a lot of building and newly constructed dwellings there.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stashquiltshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stash<\/a> is a nice little shop in a block of what looked like condos that had been taken over by businesses. The parking was difficult but not impossible. There is no lot, just street parking. We found a street spot and walked about 2 blocks to the shop.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140229.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140229.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140229.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The quilt on the left hanging on the rack is one of the quilts from Fast Quilts that I talked about last week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140212.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140212.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140212.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The main part of the shop is shown in the picture above. They have a nice selection of fabrics, but. volume is not their strength.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140221.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140221.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140221.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The area shown is right next to the picture right above it. This is the checkout counter of the shop. It also served as the cutting table.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140251.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140251.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140251.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They have a section in the back with more fabric, which made the selection quite a respectable size.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140324.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140324.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140324.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It looks like this area could accommodate a small class &#8211; perhaps 3-4 people.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140319.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140319.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140319.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140332.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" title=\"20130712_140332.jpg\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wpid-20130712_140332.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We liked this quilt. The alternate block adds interest.<\/p>\n<p>There is a small cafe next door, which has some selected gluten free options.
