I created this spot so those of you without blogs and websites would have a place to post your responses.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teal\" target=\"_blank\">Definition<\/a>: &#8220;Teal is a low-saturated color, a bluish-green to dark medium, similar to medium <a title=\"Blue-green\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blue-green\">blue-green<\/a> and dark cyan. It can be created by mixing green with blue into a white base, or deepened as needed with a little bit of black or gray color.<sup id=\"cite_ref-Paint-N-Stain_INC_3-0\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teal#cite_note-Paint-N-Stain_INC-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup> The <a title=\"Complementary color\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Complementary_color\">complementary color<\/a> of teal is <a title=\"Coral (color)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coral_%28color%29\">coral<\/a>.<sup id=\"cite_ref-Paint-N-Stain_INC_3-1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teal#cite_note-Paint-N-Stain_INC-3\">[3]<\/a><\/sup> It is also one of the initial group of 16 HTML\/CSS <a title=\"HTML color names\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/HTML_color_names\">web colors<\/a> formulated in 1987.<\/p>\n<p>The first recorded use of Teal as a color name in English was in 1917.<sup id=\"cite_ref-4\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Teal#cite_note-4\">[4]<\/a><\/sup>&#8221; The Sharks are generally regarded as being the first team to make the color teal popular in sports.<\/li>\n<li>The <a title=\"Jacksonville Jaguars\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jacksonville_Jaguars\">Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> of the <a title=\"National Football League\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Football_League\">National Football League<\/a> use teal as their primary color.
