Not the same as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2013\/12\/2013-year-in-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last year<\/a>, but respectable.<\/p>\n<p>As I look at these lists, I can hardly believe that some of the projects, which I now think of as old, were not even on the first list I made. It is ready to post, but I could have taken a few more photos and might still do that. If you look at it and think there are a paltry number of photos, check back.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/2010\/06\/basting-quilting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Tarts Come to Tea<\/a>: I still haven\u2019t worked on this since April 2011, though, periodically, I <em>think<\/em> about working on it.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/pointillist-palette-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pointillist Palette #4<\/a>: Fourth is a series of 6 quilts; needs tiny square patches sewn together. I still haven\u2019t worked on this, though, I did find a bunch of squares already made. That makes me hopeful.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/3198\/262\/1600\/Portrait.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Self Portrait<\/a>: started in 2006 at a <a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2006\/06\/pamelala-teaches-at-quilting-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">class at Quilting Adventures<\/a> in Richmond, Virginia. I like the piece, but don\u2019t know where to go from where I am. Mouth? Hair? The attitude I need to have is that I can\u2019t ruin it; there is always more fabric. Possibility for abandonment.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/pamela-cqfa-2\/pict3895sm1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Under the Sea<\/a>: class project; like the design, but not the colors much. Possibility for abandonment. I have to face reality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Ready for Quilting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wow! Everything on this list is new.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/05\/from-zeus-athena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New:*&nbsp;Wonky 9 Patch<\/a>: needs quilting and binding. I got some batting from Kelly for this since I am thinking about quilting this myself. (Not on original list)<\/li>\n<li>New:* Super Secret Project #4: at the quilter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>In the Finishing Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/seefull.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See<\/a>: I have quilted about a third of it, so 2\/3 needs to be quilted. Needs facing and sleeve<\/li>\n<li>Flower Sugar Hexagon \/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/01\/top-complete-hexies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Attack of the Hexies<\/a> \u2013 Sewing on binding.<\/li>\n<li>New:*<a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2013\/06\/section-7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Star Sampler<\/a>: Quilting finished and binding machine sewed on the front. I have to go pick it up and sew the binding down by hand (not on original list)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>In Process<\/strong><br \/>\nI decided that I had better put in an \u2018In Process\u2019 category. The difference, at least in my mind, between \u2018In Process\u2019 and \u2018UFO\u2019 is that I am actively working on a project that is \u201cIn Process.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/russian-rubix-test-blocks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Russian Rubix<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/fabric-of-the-year-2013-last-squares\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FOTY 2013<\/a><\/li>\n<li>City Sampler<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hunting and Gathering<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/hooked-on-hexagons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spin Wheel<\/a>: really not started, but supplies gathered. I probably have enough fabrics and just need to decide to start.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/windmill-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Windmill<\/a> quilt: Still hunting and gathering. I will use a grey for the background, because if I use more of the cut fabric patches, the pattern will be lost. The pieces are too oddly shaped and I don\u2019t want to lose the pattern in a mass of scraps.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/stepping-stones-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stepping Stones #2<\/a> using Bonnie &amp; Camille fabrics Bliss, Ruby, Vintage Modern: made <a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/stepping-stones-thoughts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two test blocks<\/a>, but still in the thinking stage while I decide on the background colors. I want the contrast to be good.<\/li>\n<li>Super Secret Project #3: working on color choices.<\/li>\n<li>FOTY 2014: cutting out 3&#8243;x5&#8243; rectangles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Abandoned<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing so far for 2014<\/p>\n<p>You can find the last update for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/current-projects-may-2014\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Current Projects<\/a> list provides a good comparison to this month.<\/p>\n<p>I thought you might want to take a look at the <a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/26-projects-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first list<\/a> I made, the one with the 26 Projects. I started the list in October 2011. I have made REALLY GOOD progress. Up until last month, I was still planning to stop this post when I had no more projects from the original list to write about, but now, that the end is in sight, I am not so sure. It is so useful to keep track of all of my projects.
