Not for lack of desire, but I have had too much else going on. With Christmas over and the Young Man off to visit Grandma, I hope to turn my attention to the mess that I call a workroom.<\/p>\n<p>I had the Leaning Tower of Pisa of fabrics on my cutting table and it occurred to me that I had too many fabrics for the Tale of Two Cities piece. I may have two many lights, but as I am using my phone as a camera these days, it just may be that they look lighter than they are.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t really want to keep the octopus fabric in, but it is distinctive. I have used it several times, so I didn&#8217;t feel I could leave it out without it being noticed. However, I may have used it enough so that I can spread blocks with it out over the quilt and the quilt will look fine.<\/p>\n<p>I want to get back in the saddle and make a few more of these blocks in the not too distant future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have not been making blocks for this project.
