Today, larger parasols are often used as fixed or semi-fixed devices, used with <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Patio table\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patio_table\">patio tables<\/a> or other <a title=\"Garden furniture\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Garden_furniture\">outdoor furniture<\/a>, or as points of shade on a sunny beach.
