That is a long time.<\/p>\n<p>I have made progress since <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/02\/black-grey-teenaged-boy-donation-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\">last week<\/a>. The sashing and cornerstones are sewn to all of the blocks and I have started to put the blocks together. Yes, I am definitely using chunking, though it is a little challenging since I used part of the quilt for the <a title=\"Chunking It \u2013 A Method of Putting Quilts Together\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/aq-projects-tutorials\/aq-tutorials\/chunking\/\" target=\"_blank\">chunking tutorial<\/a>. An hour here and 15 minutes there really make a difference. I can&#8217;t believe how much it has shrunk since the I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/blackgrey-donation-top-serious-progress\/\" target=\"_blank\">first put all the blocks on the design wall<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I realized when I looked back at the various posts related to this project that I have been working on it since January of 2014.
