I sewed very little in June and May was very hit and miss, so I suppose posting the same thing over and over would be boring.<\/p>\n<p>I sewed for awhile with wild abandon and it resulted in some quilt projects I delivered to the quilter, but it wasn&#8217;t that much fun. I felt confused and overwhelmed. Of course there was a lot of stuff going on in regular life, so I know all of that stuff contributed also. Still, while I like to have a couple of projects going at once they need to be at different stages and I need to be able to focus on one at a time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finished 2015 Quilt Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/finished-foty-2013\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fabric of the Year 2013<\/a> \u2013 finished 4\/11\/2015<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/finished-hawaiian-donation-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hawaiian Donation quilt<\/a> \u2013 finished 4\/7\/2015<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/finished-pink-t-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pink T Donation Quilt<\/a> \u2013 finished 3\/3\/2015<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/finished-russian-rubix\/\" target=\"_blank\">Russian Rubix<\/a> \u2013 finished 4\/2015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Finished 2014 non-Quilt Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/more-pillowcases\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christmas pillowcases<\/a> as gifts \u2013 finished May 4, 2015<\/li>\n<li>1 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/pillowcases\/\" target=\"_blank\">College pillowcase<\/a> &#8211; finished 7\/5\/2015<\/li>\n<li>2 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/pillowcases\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christmas pillowcases<\/a> &#8211; finished 7\/5\/2015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Still WIPs<\/strong><br \/>\nI still have WIPs. Who doesn\u2019t, after all, but the list is getting a lot smaller.<\/p>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/2011\/07\/sampler-quilt-update\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aqua-Red Sampler<\/a> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/theoffkilterquilt.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Frances<\/a> and I finished the Basket block and you can make one as well by looking at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/sampler-quilt-basket-pt-1\/\" target=\"_blank\">tutorial series<\/a>. Now I am tasked with doing a tutorial on partial seaming.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/08\/2010\/06\/basting-quilting\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Tarts Come to Tea<\/a>: I still haven\u2019t worked on this since April 2011, though, I have been moving it around the Fabric Closet. Periodically, I <em>think<\/em> about working on it.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/05\/pointillist-palette-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pointillist Palette #4<\/a>: Fourth is a series of 6 quilts; needs tiny square patches sewn together. I still haven\u2019t worked on this project either, but I do think about it. The Lunns have a new line of PP fabric out. I saw the new colors and didn&#8217;t feel I needed them.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/3198\/262\/1600\/Portrait.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Self Portrait<\/a>: started in 2006 at a <a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2006\/06\/pamelala-teaches-at-quilting-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\">class at Quilting Adventures<\/a> in Richmond, Virginia. My career counselor breathed new life into this project for me. She asked a simple question and the end result was inspiration for this piece, but I kind of lost steam again after printing images on paper to try out different designs. Lately, I have been feeling like I need to finish this piece as it should be a good reminder to keep in my office.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/pamela-cqfa-2\/pict3895sm1\/\" target=\"_blank\">Under the Sea<\/a>: class project; like the design, but not the colors. Still a possibility for abandonment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Ready for Quilting<\/strong><br \/>\nWow! Everything on this list is new, as in it was never on the original 26 Projects list.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a title=\"FOTY 2013 Top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/field-day-ready-to-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Field Day Zipper<\/a>; at the quilter<\/li>\n<li>Table runner: Basted; needs quilting and binding. I am planning on free motion quilting this myself for practice, which may be a challenge when my main machine is not working.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Russian Rubix Big Steps\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/box-full-of-letters-back\/\" target=\"_blank\">Box Full of Letters;<\/a> at the quilter<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/07\/food-quilt-2-back\/\" target=\"_blank\">Food Quilt #2<\/a>; at the quilter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>In Process<\/strong><br \/>\nI decided that I had better put in an \u2018In Process\u2019 category. The difference, at least in my mind, between \u2018In Process\u2019 and \u2018UFO\u2019 is that I am actively working on a project and that is defined as\u201cIn Process.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"EPP Stars\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/09\/epp-stars\/\" target=\"_blank\">English Paper Piecing Project<\/a>&#8211; half hexies<\/li>\n<li>City Sampler\/ <a title=\"Tale of Two Cities \u2013 More Blocks\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/08\/tale-of-two-cities-more-blocks-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tale of Two Cities<\/a> blocks<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Serendipity Lady Starts\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/serendipity-lady-starts\/\" target=\"_blank\">Serendipity Lady Quilt<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/a-few-more-stepping-stones\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stepping Stones #2<\/a> using primarily Bonnie &amp; Camille fabrics Bliss, Ruby, Vintage Modern: I made <a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/11\/stepping-stones-thoughts\/\" target=\"_blank\">two test blocks<\/a>, but wasn&#8217;t quite happy with them, so I added a number of other reds and turquoises to the variety to make the piece more scrappy. I ending up deciding against using a solid turquoise for the background.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hunting and Gathering<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue Gradation Quilt: cutting 2.5&#8243;x4.5&#8243; blue rectangles<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/pink-and-blue-lemonade\/\" target=\"_blank\">Blue Lemonade<\/a>: cutting blue, green, purple 2&#8243; squares<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/hooked-on-hexagons\/\" target=\"_blank\">FOTY 2014: cutting out 3&#8243;x5&#8243; rectangles.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Pink Gradation Quilt: cutting 2.5&#8243;x4.5&#8243; pink rectangles<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/hooked-on-hexagons\/\" target=\"_blank\">Spin Wheel<\/a>: really not started, but supplies gathered. I probably have enough fabrics and just need to decide to start.<\/li>\n<li>Stepping Stones #3 using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/and-in-other-news\/\" target=\"_blank\">Macaron pre-cuts from Hoffman<\/a>. I just remembered this project-to be. It isn\u2019t started, but I have all the pre-cuts and should think about actually using them.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/windmill-project\/\" target=\"_blank\">Windmill<\/a> quilt: Still hunting and gathering. I am cutting a variety of greys for the background,to preserve the pattern.
