As a result, I finished the <a href=\"http:\/\/annamariahorner.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">Anna Maria Horner<\/a> Multi-tasker Tote. I keep thinking of it as the Julie tote, since <a href=\"http:\/\/highfibercontent.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">Julie<\/a> looked high and low and found the blue <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dsquilts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Denyse Schmidt<\/a> fabric for me. Putting the straps on was no exception. There is a part where you fold over the top and that becomes the channel for the straps. I am still completely in awe of AMH and her ability to imagine the construction of this bag.<\/p>\n<p>In the photo below, I tried to show you the channel. I don&#8217;t plan to use this for groceries, but I routinely carry:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miquelrius.com\/eng\/collections\/categories\/stationery\/spiral-bound_notebook\/mr_basic\" target=\"_blank\">journal<\/a><\/li>\n<li>my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shopwritersbloc.com\/clairefontaine-drawing-pad--rectangular.html\" target=\"_blank\">Clairefontaine<\/a><\/li>\n<li>a book (can be hardback or paperback)<\/li>\n<li>the Word of the Day book (paperback)<\/li>\n<li>a <a href=\"http:\/\/pinkchalkstudio.com\/blog\/2008\/10\/24\/pencil-roll-pattern\/\" target=\"_blank\">pencil roll <\/a><\/li>\n<li>a water bottle<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think the above list is outrageous&#8230;. I do have to have my stuff with me.<\/p>\n<p>I plan to make another one now that I know the drill. I have ideas for different ways of combining fabric. I ended up buying some of the Peltex 2 from SewThankful (I think), so I need to do something with it.
