I started out with a goal of adding a column of blocks to En Provence. I ended up finishing the Mostly Manor top instead.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38460\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38460\" style=\"width: 291px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869..jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-38460\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869.-291x300.jpg\" alt=\"Mostly Manor Lozenge Top\" width=\"291\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869.-291x300.jpg 291w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869.-768x792.jpg 768w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869.-993x1024.jpg 993w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/wp-1507958547869.-1200x1237.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 291px) 85vw, 291px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38460\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mostly Manor Lozenge Top<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I made the blocks last Fall, put them together at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2017\/10\/mostly-manor-lozenge-top\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent BAM retreat<\/a>, cut the borders at Craft Night and now they are a quilt top.<\/p>\n<p>I had the borders cut and when I ran out of Triple Star pieces to use as leaders and enders, I realized I could add the borders as leaders and enders in between sewing the En Provence blocks together.<\/p>\n<p>Once the borders were on, I further realized that the back wouldn&#8217;t be much more work. I had some hoops to jump through (making the label), but with that done quickly and a few large pieces of backing fabric on hand, I had the quilt ready to take to Colleen.<\/p>\n<p>I brought the quilt with me to PIQF and dropped it off at her booth, which saves me a drive. YAY! I am so glad this project is moving along.
