I dug some out and made her a bag to replace <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2009\/03\/various-and-sundry-monday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one I made her several years ago<\/a> that is becoming threadbare and dirty.<\/p>\n<p>I used the Jane Market Tote pattern, but added some extra pintucking and interfacing. I like the way it turned out. She had been reading the blog and was feeling sorry that I wasn&#8217;t making her a bag after reading about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2017\/12\/gift-post-1-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mary&#8217;s bag<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2017\/10\/bamaqg-retreat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bags I made on the quilt retreat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The design of the bag makes a smallish shopping tote. I had forgotten the size. I had to do that on Christmas Day before we went off to our further celebrations.
