The other quilt that came back from Colleen, along with Metroscape, was the Aqua-Red Sampler<\/a>. I am very pleased with how it came out.<\/p>\n

I am glad I made the decision to forgo the sashing<\/a>. I think it looks good as is. The blocks don’t bleed into each other too much.<\/p>\n

I noticed when I flipped the quilt over that the back was very cohesive, like I made the City Sampler back<\/a>. I am not giving up my big bold flowers, but I might try and keep some backs similar to the front if the design warrants it.<\/p>\n
