Since I was mailing him a package I also made one for his girlfriend. For me, it is better <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2012\/09\/the-organization-of-hunting-and-gathering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">to cut them up<\/a> either for future projects or into usable sized patches. Some of the pieces were large enough that I had enough for masks. I have very little dark green, but I found this Jinny Beyer print that I bought pre-blogging and decided it would work. I described some issues I was having in the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2020\/07\/face-mask-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">last Face Mask post<\/a>. I worked on redoing the way I insert elastic on these. I sewed <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/20200704_221806_wm.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">similar rectangles on the ends<\/a>, but inserted the elastic so that the ends are covered by folding the ends in. I might have made the elastic a little small, but we will see. I don&#8217;t try on masks I am sending to other people, so I don&#8217;t know if the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/wp-1593926019654.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">edges will flap out<\/a> like my previous batch.
