While machine applique&#8217; is generally a hassle, it is much better with the bias tape, because the edges are not raw. I don&#8217;t like to leave my edges raw. I usually cover them with satin stitching and that takes time. I don&#8217;t like it, though I like the look because I have to reset my machine.
