I wanted to finish them, but life got in the way.<\/p>\n<p>I was pleased when I attached the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2020\/12\/sew-together-bag-progress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lining<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2020\/12\/sew-together-bag-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exterior<\/a> and saw how the embellishment lined up. YAY! I like how just part of it shows. I am pleased with the colors, though I wonder if I should have backed the Dresden Plate. I think that dark blue of the exterior is showing through some of the lighter blues. Almost the entire motif is on the bottom of the bag and mostly unseeable. \ud83d\ude41 I am still considering taking the exterior off the lining, ripping out the hexies and re-appliqueing them to the exterior higher up.&nbsp; That is a lot of ripping. I think it is more likely that I will make a new hexie motif and add it to the front where it can be seen. If the exterior fabric weren&#8217;t a blender, I would be fine with leaving it as is, but it is a little boring compared to the others.<\/p>\n<p>Two out of three isn&#8217;t bad!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I made good progress right before Christmas on these bags.
