I made it after taking a class from Doreen Speckman where I made the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/quilts-2\/quilts-1996-1999\/interlocking-triangles-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first Interlocking Triangles quilt<\/a>. Ever since I finished Spiky Stars I have wanted to make another version using this technique. I have played around in EQ since v.4 with various designs, but never quite making one that works for me.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_54907\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54907\" style=\"width: 298px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spectrum.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54907\" src=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spectrum-298x300.jpg\" alt=\"Spectrum by Windham\" width=\"298\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spectrum-298x300.jpg 298w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spectrum-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Spectrum.jpg 591w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 85vw, 298px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-54907\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spectrum by Windham<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Recently, at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawthornesupplyco.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hawthorne Supply Company<\/a>, I saw the Spectrum FQ pack by Windham. I decided that it was time to make another IT quilt and this was the impetus.<\/p>\n<p>Since I ordered this FQ pack, I have been busily working on designs. I have made at least 15 different blocks, set them into a quilt design and decided that I need another small tweak. I made some good progress on Friday night and may have found my design.
