I had to add background pieces to prevent jagged edges or partial squares. While I like this quilt, I prefer the circular versions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7769\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7769\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/PassionatePurple.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7769\" src=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/PassionatePurple-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"Finished: Passionate Purple\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/PassionatePurple-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/PassionatePurple.jpg 864w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7769\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Finished: Passionate Purple<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Passionate Purple: this one might be my favorite, though all of the different quilts bring something special. I like the way the loops are finite and that they are different sizes. I hesitate to duplicate the idea for the recent orange version, but I am sorely tempted.<\/p>\n<p>I really want to make quilts in this style from all the colors with my friends. I don&#8217;t want to do them by myself.
