There is no pattern for the border, so I am creating as I go along. I have shown you <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/la-pass-border-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">some photos<\/a> of what I am doing in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>I added some pieces to another part of the border, which is a multi-step process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Figure out how to put the pieces together<\/li>\n<li>Baste pieces<\/li>\n<li>Sew pieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From the basting to the sewing, I was finding that the pieces I had basted didn&#8217;t fit, thus I needed a system.<\/p>\n<p>You see what I came up with above. I put a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3T4z8Bl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Post-it note<\/a>** with a number on the quilt, then I put a corresponding post it note with the same number on the border pieces I will be adding.<\/p>\n<p>You see <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ujdj6y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WonderClips<\/a>** in the mix as well.I don&#8217;t want those Post-its to fall off and they don&#8217;t stick long term to fabric, thus the WonderClips.<\/p>\n<p>So far, so good. I&#8217;ll let you know how it turns out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>**N.
