I know what to expect from Sew sweetness patterns, but this is a new designer to me.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/06\/hildegarde-notions-trunk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hildegarde Notions Trunk<\/a> &#8211; I just cut it out, but will wait a bit before I start working on it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1><strong>Still UFOs<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>I still have UFOs. Who doesn\u2019t, after all? A project in the \u2018UFO\u2019 category means I am stalled, it hasn\u2019t been worked on in awhile or it is waiting its turn to be worked on. The list is a lot shorter and the projects are newer, for the most part.<\/p>\n<p>I am annoyed that some of these are still UFOs. I have to give myself credit for completing some of them last year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rose Petrillo bag \u2013 I found the pieces for this bag cut out, but not sewn.<\/li>\n<li>Superbloom tote using Hindsight fabric \u2013 not started. I did pull the fabric, supplies and found a photo I plan to use as inspiration that others posted, so I am one step closer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/tag\/handbag-sampler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Handbag Sampler<\/a> \u2013 I <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/04\/found-handbag-sampler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found the blocks<\/a>! I found them in a bin I thought I had thoroughly searched! I also found the fabrics carefully stored together. Hooray!!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Portrait.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Self Portrait<\/a>: started in 2006 at a <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2006\/06\/pamelala-teaches-at-quilting-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">class at Quilting Adventures<\/a> in Richmond, Virginia. After a brief burst of inspiration, I am stalled on this again. As one of my oldest (I am pretty sure) UFOs, I put it on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/whats-your-oldest-ufo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">my blog<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/artquiltmaker\/status\/987744235699879942\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">out into the Twitterverse<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ddrquilter\/status\/987747460075458560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diane suggested that I not consider this as a self portrait<\/a>. I think that strategy is a great idea. I am now trying to think of a new persona for her.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/tag\/serendipity-lady\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Serendipity Lady<\/a> \u2013 I am still planning to take this piece to be framed.
