Get a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3XyWFe4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clammy<\/a>** and try it!<\/p>\n<p>I have updated the <a href=\"\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/quilts-2\/series-quilts\/color-improv-donation-top-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Color Improv Donation Quilt page<\/a> with the new Swamp Thing.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I updated the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/quilts-2\/series-quilts\/minikins-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minikins page<\/a> since I can&#8217;t seem to stop making those pouches and bags!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Projects, Classes, Patterns, Techniques &amp; Tutorials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am really tempted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/renaissanceribbons.com\/products\/tula-pink-monthly-kit-club?cmc_adid=fb_%7B%7Bad.id%7D%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tula Pink Mini Bag Club<\/a>. There are some downsides, though. Most importantly I am concerned that I already have the patterns they will send. Still, maybe I will try it for a few months.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/basketweave-baby-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Basketweave Baby<\/a> is moving up my &#8216;To Make&#8217; list. In the meantime I have been looking at woven patterns. I saw <a href=\"https:\/\/leahday.com\/pages\/basket-weave-free-quilt-pattern\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">one by Leah Day<\/a> that I might make as a quick baby quilt.<\/p>\n<p>Julie has a <a href=\"https:\/\/highfibercontent.blogspot.com\/2024\/10\/answering-prewash-question.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">great post<\/a> about pre-washing with example photos. While you make your own choices, if you don&#8217;t normally pre-wash your fabric, you must read it.<\/p>\n<p>Need to find the average for a border? Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineeringtoolbox.com\/inches-decimal-equivalents-d_471.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this site<\/a> that shows the&nbsp; decimal equivalents of eights, sixteenths, thirty-seconds and sixty-fourths of an inch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Bonnie Hunter 2024 Mystery, Old Town is coming on November 22, 2024. I have plenty of fabric from which to make binding, but I like the colors (MUCH better than those <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4hnGGsg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">packages<\/a>** at old timey sewing shops and also on Amazon). The tape is made by Moda and is 2.25 inches wide and already pressed in half. I thought there was a good selection of colors as well. If you go onto the <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.modafabrics.com\/search?searchString=bias+binding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moda site<\/a>, they have even more colors than pictured here.<\/p>\n<p>I found a list of design wall companies from who knows when. Sadly, none of the websites were operational. What design walls have you seen lately?
