Posting the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Sunflower2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pattern<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/10\/a-special-sew-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last time<\/a> generated a lot of interest in making the block. Friend Julie took my pattern and worked on this block. I am always so excited to see the fabrics people choose. Julie <a href=\"https:\/\/highfibercontent.blogspot.com\/2024\/10\/some-sunflowers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote about her blocks<\/a> (she picked another to make as well) in her blog <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/10\/some-travel-minimal-quilt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">while I was away<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I really like the center of Julie&#8217;s block. It is different, but gives the impression of a sunflower center.<\/p>\n<p>She <a href=\"https:\/\/highfibercontent.blogspot.com\/2024\/10\/a-sunflower.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">finished two<\/a>, one of which I didn&#8217;t see in the original post. The one that doesn&#8217;t use my pattern is fantastic as well. I am so glad I put up the pattern. She struggled with the &#8216;flip &amp; sew&#8217; sections of the center as I did.
