<\/strong><strong>Projects Ready for Quilting \/ In the Quilting Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Nothing at the moment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>April <\/strong><strong>Projects In the Finishing Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Nothing now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>All the WIPs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>WIPs are projects on which I am working. This means that I am past the cutting out of pieces stage,&nbsp; some sewing has taken place.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2023\/12\/la-pass-border-continues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Passacaglia<\/a> \u2013 I am working on the border, but need to work more and harder<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2025\/01\/even-more-old-town\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Old Town<\/a> \u2013 several clues finished<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2025\/04\/starting-chain-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chain Link<\/a> \u2013 I started working on this at the 2025 Retreat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cut Out &amp; Stopped<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/eppic-bag-cut-out\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EPPic<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/06\/oxbow-tote-start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxbow<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2025\/05\/rose-petrillo-returns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rose Petrillo bag<\/a> \u2013 I found the pieces for this bag cut out, but not sewn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Still UFOs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I still have UFOs. Who doesn\u2019t, after all? A project in the \u2018UFO\u2019 category means I am stalled, it hasn\u2019t been worked on in awhile or it is waiting its turn to be worked on. The list is a lot shorter and the projects are newer, for the most part.<\/p>\n<p>I am annoyed that some of these are still UFOs. I have to give myself credit for completing some of them last year.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/tag\/handbag-sampler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Handbag Sampler<\/a> \u2013 I <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2024\/04\/found-handbag-sampler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found the blocks<\/a>! I found them in a bin I thought I had thoroughly searched! I also found the fabrics carefully stored together. Hooray!!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Portrait.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Self Portrait<\/a>: started in 2006 at a <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2006\/06\/pamelala-teaches-at-quilting-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">class at Quilting Adventures<\/a> in Richmond, Virginia. After a brief burst of inspiration, I am stalled on this again. As one of my oldest (I am pretty sure) UFOs, I put it on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2018\/04\/whats-your-oldest-ufo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">my blog<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/artquiltmaker\/status\/987744235699879942\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">out into the Twitterverse<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ddrquilter\/status\/987747460075458560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Diane suggested that I not consider this as a self portrait<\/a>. I think that strategy is a great idea. I am now trying to think of a new persona for her.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/tag\/serendipity-lady\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Serendipity Lady<\/a> \u2013 I am still planning to take this piece to be framed. It might need a bit of quilting first.<\/li>\n<li>Fabric of the Year 2020<\/li>\n<li>Fabric of the Year 2021 \u2013 I may combine 2020 and 2021 into a COVID edition.<\/li>\n<li>Fabric of the Year 2022 \u2013 yes, I added this one to the list, but this is the last one I plan to do.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finished April 2025 Quilt Projects None this month- this is depressing!
