She also established a highly influential female family, which has produced other leading sires Machiavellian and Danehill, plus numerous other stakes winners.&#8221; from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Natalma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I should have known it was a horse. I tried to be very Zen about the process, going through each step and not skipping or putting off steps, like interfacing pieces.<\/p>\n<p>It pays off to do all the <a href=\"https:\/\/artquiltmaker.com\/blog\/2026\/10\/natalma-start\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prep<\/a>, because I don&#8217;t have to stop to interface or whatever. It is all done. I should learn that this is the best way to work, but my desire to get to the sewing will probably always override that practice. Oh well.<\/p>\n<p>I like making patterns the first time, because I can take notes on what I would change the second time. That pink pocket shown above will be made with vinyl next time.
