Afer looking at this hand last night and this morning, I am not so happy with it. The quilting looks off and weird. I think it was the batting that I used. My plan now is to make another one – same design, etc, but better batting and quilting.
I really had trouble with the quilting, because there was nothing to grab on to. I really wanted to use the Glitter, but, as I mentioned, couldn’t get the tension right. My machine better behave or I am junking it and getting a new one! I will try again with straight lines and the Glitter.
The good thing about doing something over is that the second time goes faster. I don’t feel it is a waste; I feel that I am improving the process.
oh crumbs, jaye. i’m sorry you’re not happy with your hand. i hope you are able to make another that makes you happier.
Send both hands – I’m sure that even if it really is bad (which i seriously doubt) it will look wonderful up with all the rest. Oh and where are the photos? ;-P
So are you ready to mail your hands? Mine are going out on Monday – I’m still hoping to get morgan to make one.
I am not sure why you can’t see the photos? They are there. Try IE. I think I am mostly not going to send the bad hand, because I don’t want to finish it. The good one is really nice.
I am ready to get my good hand ready to mail. I jsut have to go to Karey’s website and look up the address, etc. Hopefully, someone will like it and take note! In my dreams!
