Dear Jane by Minka

I have been, as I may have mentioned looking through the Dear Jane blocks various groups of Janiacs have posted on Flickr. The two largest groups are the Dear Janes and Dear Baby Jane (http://www.flickr.com/groups/dearbabyjane/). It is amazing how many blocks these ladies have created.I am in awe of them. I admired one particular member and found her blog. She has some history of her Dear Jane work, a link to which is below.

  1. Thanks for posting about these flickr groups, it is fun to go check out all the blocks people have made. I have the DJ software, it is on my someday list to make a DJ quilt, out of my hand-dyes I think! I just love x100 the border triangles, so different and effective

  2. Thanks for reading!

I am really enjoying looking at the blocks people have made. The patterns are really different. I also have the DJ software and the book. I don’t know if I want to make a whole quilt, but the block designs are quite intriguing. Once the Flowering Snowball is done, I will need another hand project. Hhhmm… I am thinking dots! The triangle border is really unique.
