This is the first in a series of Diamond Chain quilts. This was an exercise in using a monochromatic palette. The pattern for these quilts originally came, nameless, from the Spring 1997 issue of McCall’s Quick Quilting. Jeanne C. Neptune and I have worked together on all of them and named the basic pattern Diamond Chain. It looks like an Irish Chain variation. I really like the pattern and intend to make more.
