I talked about some donation blocks I made last week. As I worked on the Cutting Corners Donation Top, I made more of the postage stamp/16 patch blocks using leaders and enders. I love how much I get done when I use that technique!

I now have 12 blocks on the wall. I have a few more to make, but I think that I might as well sew them together to make another top for the Charity Girls.
I like how cheery these are. What is cutting size of postage stamp squares… 1.5 in?
2.5″, but you can make them any size. I have made them in 2″ also when I have that size scraps.
I love how the postage stamp blocks! I hadn’t thought of doing leaders and enders for donation quilts. Great idea!
I really get a lot of blocks done that way, especially these types of blocks, which are really easy. You can do four patches or use larger squares.
What a great idea for quilts to donate!!
Simple yet cheerful!
And very satisfying to make!
I adore these blocks!
They are very appealing. I don’t know how many I have made, but I am not yet sick of making them.
