Amethyst vs Natalma

After finishing the Natalma earlier this month, I couldn’t help comparing it to the Amethyst.

I do not have the Amethyst, so I have to use photos for comparison. Obviously, the inside pockets and features are different. I expect this even when Sara’s bags have a similar construction.

The big difference, I see is that the Natalma lays flat (is an open wide sort of design) and the lid of the Amethyst opens leaving a space under it. This is not a bag that lays flat.

I did compare the finished sizes as well:

Amethyst Finished Size: 14” long x 13” high x 3” deep (35.5cm x 33cm x 7.5cm)

Natalma Finished Size: 14” long x 12” tall x 4-1/4” deep (35.6cm x 30.5cm x 10.8cm)

As you can see the sizes are similar.

As I may have mentioned, I like it when Sara uses similar construction techniques on different bags. It expands my horizons.
