Aren’t these cupcakes gorgeous? I delighted in the artistry the bakers exhibited and it made me think of the human need to create. Some of us make quilts, some knit or crochet; some people create with wood, glass or metal. I think all of us have an innate need to create. I think these bakers are lucky that they get to create something like this as a job.
What do you create?
I have been creating a LOT these days! Potholders, and quilts of fabric were made. I wrapped fabric around cotton cording and made a rug and coasters. I bought candles in glass jars on clearance and have decorated them as well. Though fabric oriented in most of my ‘creations’ I also remake things into more decorative originals too.
I love creating. I admire others’ creativity in things like the cupcakes on your blog, or even writers who write books! I think everyone has creativity in some aspect of their lives. Even and “old fashioned” wife who can cook up a storm, is creative. I find beauty and creativeness in every day life and think it is wonderful!
🙂
At first glance – I thought you had spent the weekend baking! LOL

Sheri: glad to hear you are creating! I love the idea of remaking something.
Deirdre: no way. Those are gorgeous, but deadly for me. I will admire from afar.
Sherri: You are absolutely right in that everyone has creativity inside of them. It makes my blood boil when people say that they are not creative, because I know that everyone IS creative and that is someone else talking; someone who conditioned them and put them in a pigeon hole.
Bringing creativity to everyday life brings beauty and joy to everyday life.
