Please…I Need a Pear

People are coming up with fabulous stuffed pincushion-like items. I saw a chicken not too long ago that made me want to start a collection. Now Retro Mama has a pear. I want this pear, but I am terrible at stuffing things. They always come out misshapen and too soft. Perhaps I will have to practice?

  1. It is an awfully nice pear. On the plus side, it’s not very big, doesn’t require a lot of fabric, so you could make a bunch until it was stuffed to your satisfaction!

  2. I made an egg from her egg pattern. It IS kinda fun to make these things. Of course I often think about making them as part of a sculptured art piece as I have done with my dolls sometimes. 😀

    Just rambling this morning……

  3. Sherri: I posted the egg pattern around Easter here, fully intending to make some myself and never got to it. I guess there is still time. Glad to know someone I ‘know’ worked on the pattern.
Beena: Everyone is telling me to just try it until it works. I think I need a stuffing buddy.
