Minikins Series

There were a few patterns I wanted in the Minikins series from Sara Lawson at Sew Sweetness*. Each collection has 12-13 different patterns and many of the patterns come with more than one size. The shapes are really interesting.

I didn’t buy the first two collections when they were on sale, but finally took the plunge when I received a bonus from work. I want to make many of the patterns and decided that I would keep track of the projects as I made them. I have done that pretty well.

After about 2025, Sara stopped producing the Minikins series. I don’t know why, but there were a lot of complaints from people about not being able to buy just one of the patterns. She now has The League of Extraordinary Bagmakers series, which is usually about four patterns. She releases these about twice per year. I haven’t bought all of those patterns as I don’t want more backpack patterns that I probably won’t use. I have made a section for those patterns below the Minikins patterns.

Minikins Season 1 includes:

I bought Minikins Season 2 because of the Daytrip Cell phone wallet and finally made it! I am really glad. Now the guilt is out of my system.
