Block 5 is complete and n.6 is in process.
I think I will make 6 total. They are 24″ blocks, so the 6 will make a large lap quilt.

Wow, 24″ is a great size! How fast does it go together with the improv? Do you press in between?
The improv is only in the layout. The piecing is all precision piecing, like normal, except there are often many more partial seams. How long the blocks takes depends on the number of pieces. Mine each had between 80-100, so I could do about one, from layout to completion, in about a day and a half.
I press after every seam.
