Almost Perfect Binding

I am working on another Running with Scissors tote. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment.I am trying to get my head around the process.

I was able to get the stripes in order this time, which was great.

I also did the binding really well. I am pretty pleased with how it looks.

This time I did better , thought I still don’t have a handle on the process. It is as foreign to me this time as it was last time. I think this might mean I have to make another one. 🙂

  1. My question is why not cut down the 4.5 corner blocks? Or don’t cut them until sure of the needed size. sometimes thise little precut squares are pinked. Then one needs to think about if the measurment is from the peaks or the valleys of the pinked edge.

    1. That’s a good idea and I didn’t think of it, which is why I trimmed the squares. I don’t like those pinked edges away. You make one with the pinked edges and tell me what you think about sizes.
