Modern Quilt Studio’s QuiltCon Homework #3

Weeks writes “Challenge yourself  – if you could only make one more quilt, what would it be?”

I would make something really hard, some quilt that would make people stop in their tracks and would make their mouths hang open. It would be a completely insane quilt with thousands of pieces or something so difficult that people would not know how it was put together.

If I had to pin down a pattern, I would choose the Double Wedding Ring. I don’t know why as I think there are harder patterns out there, but it sticks in my mind.

I hope I never have to choose. I have so many ideas in my head and I want to make them all.

How would you answer this question?

  1. Hello Jaye! It’s funny you are posting this, especially now, as my must do challenge quilt is the foundation piecing NYB I am working on with your help! I pulled fabric together and can start cutting. Should I show you the fabric before I start?

    1. If you are not confident about your fabric choices, you can certainly show them to me. They will probably show up differently in a photo than they do on my screen, though. The ones you showed in the NYB blocks you did before are great. If you don’t have a color wheel, look for one online (then buy one). If the colors you choose have some relationship on the color wheel, then you should be good.
