I whipped these up in order to get them done in time for the meeting, which was yesterday. I love the combinations that Amanda comes up with! I am wishing I had some quilting fabric in that yellow and black. Isn’t it great? It reminds me of Jane Sassaman’s work. I can see cutting out the leaves and things an rearranging them, then satin stitching them down. What do you think?
I like that fabric as well. It would make a great bag.

I searched all the craft/ fabric stores here locally and did not find 2″ slides and so headed to the internet and found them at MichellePatterns and she was super fast! I ordered on Thursday afternoon, that night they shipped and I had it Saturday morning. So thank you again for the reference!

I also love that fabric. My friend has a really nice arm chair with a similar pattern in gray/lime green. I might take a picture of it next time when I go over to her. If I don’t forget of course… 🙂
