I worked on the Box Full of Letters blocks at the Retreat. I made 21 blocks as leaders and enders. The photo (left) shows a selection of the blocks I made.
I love the leaders and enders technique. I couldn’t believe how much I accomplished using leaders and enders.
I still don’t know what I am going to do with these blocks, but I am thrilled that I have an actual group of blocks with which to work.
These look great!
Thanks! I was very pleased to have a stack of them done. I still have a bunch to make and may add to the fabrics depending on the size of the quilt that these make.
You know, I saw you making these, but I didn’t take much notice of them compared to what else was going on your design wall. But this is a very cool patter now that I see all the blocks together. Leaders & Enders is looking like something I ought to try at some point, you’re convincing me!
You don’t do as much regular piecing as I do and your stuff is so unique and art that I don’t know that it would make sense for you. However! You could totally use leaders and enders when you put together the windmills and projects like the tumbler.
